Segall Consulting

Who is Barrie Segall?

Barrie has been an executive in the nonprofit sector for over 30 years, guiding agencies with budgets of up to $15 million.  He has taught leadership classes at Ohio State University and Hebrew Union College (USC).  For the past dozen years he has helped over 500 nonprofit agencies in providing management support services.  Barrie has developed an expertise in strengthening the Board of Directors, and helping agencies raise more money through relationship-based fund development.  He has guided many organizations through strategic planning processes that has energized the Board and staff and provided a realistic roadmap for the future.  Once this is done, Barrie has helped the agency learn how to raise the funds needed to implement their strategic initiatives.

As a lifetime nonprofit leader, Barrie believes that to be a successful consultant you have to have lived in the nonprofit culture and understand the importance of the consultation process is something you do with the agency, not for the agency.
